JELADO Hand-embroidered ALASKAN EIELSON AFB - Velveteen x Satin Sukajan (Black x White) [JRSK-002]

An adult Sukajan with hand embroidery.

Both the velveteen and satin surfaces have a plain front finish.
It is a simple piece with no embroidery on the chest or arms.

The back embroidery features the letters "ALASKAN", "AIRCRAFT RESCUE", and "EIELSON AFB", a crashing plane, a rescue team, and a devil's face.

This is believed to be a sukajan embroidered as an order item for a member of the military stationed at "EIELSON AFB" in Alaska.
Also, the satin back has the words "YOU LITE'EM WE FITE'EM" and a woman drawn on it.
It's a joke slogan among firefighters and, combined with the velveteen cotton embroidery, suggests that the base vintage item was owned by rescue workers.

The embroidered thread uses rayon thread like vintage.
By using rayon thread, it is an embroidery that can be enjoyed over time due to color fading and wear.
If you wear it as it was in those days, it will bring out a real vintage feeling.

The zipper is a YKK rotary type.
The rib material is the same rayon material used at the time.
